Strategic Plan
All Victorian government schools must develop a four-year School Strategic Plan for school improvement, following their school review. The plan is based on the direction, guidance and recommendation by the school review panel, and an analysis of school performance data and evidence in the review.
The school strategic plan
- outlines the school’s vision and values
- sets goals and targets for improved student outcomes
- lists the key improvement strategies that will help achieve these goals and targets
- is sensitive to local needs
The schools’ leadership team ensures that the school’s direction and focus align with the strategic and annual plans, meeting regularly to review data collected by DET and the school, ensuring set goals are being met and continued implementation is delivered throughout all aspects of the school. Maintaining high standards of professionalism and further developing the skills and knowledge of staff through PLC meetings and Professional Development allows Warragul North Primary School to focus relentlessly on student outcomes of learning and wellbeing.
